Many families avoid this walkway because it is so congested and choose to walk through an active parking lot instead. This is not safe and we have developed an easy solution that loses a couple parking spots and moves our dumpsters.

Students at an East Vancouver school have started a campaign to change the name of their school from Lord Strathcona Elementary to Barbara Howard Elementary. As @CBCLarsen reports, the students feel the former teacher at the school deserves the recognition.

The PAC is excited to announce that we are facilitating a book drive for the school library to expand its collection of books that feature BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) characters or are written by BIPOC authors. There are 3 ways to participate:
