@Jonafarhat We can cut the balloon away to terminate a flight, but it simply floats away as the payloads fall. It would be awesome to actively make the balloon burst on demand :)

Today we were flight testing some prototype electronics for a new product…looks like it had some issues. We have been tracking along with the back-up tracking and the balloon and payloads landed in some woods near Sulfur Springs Indiana. #stratostar0455

This StratoStar mission was a part of the National Civil Air Patrol (CAP) High-Altitude Balloon Challenge. Where CAP squadrons and their cadets (students) across the country worked over the summer on science projects which were shipped to Indiana and flown with two balloons.
