@UrBoutToLose@SonnyDigital 1. If he was famous he would be widely known outside your circle. Never heard of em. Songs are washed.
2. Yes I remember the bold claim you made that can’t be fully backed. It’s subjective.
@Dontrespect69@SonnyDigital I do. I just think you’re slightly delusional. Not a single Ad kick has ran has promoted Stake. Kick streamers can get deals with Stake though to help promote gambling. Slightly degenerate and attracts a certain crowd.
@UrBoutToLose@SonnyDigital >Me (ok?) and some mid tier producer
>Fuck metrics this is real life (huh?)
That’s all I needed to hear. Have a good one lol Enjoy what you Enjoy
@Dontrespect69@SonnyDigital They don’t need to rely on brands?
Oh, so those dummy ads they’re running to bring viewer analytics to brands don’t exist right? Oh wait 🤭
Save the braincells you got left, I know you didn’t start with many to begin with.
You can’t name 3 people and say
“So the urban community is and always has been leader in determining what’s “
cool”
That’s extremely subjective and can’t be backed. Determining what’s cool comes from a lot of places/people.
If those urban streamers influence you into what’s “cool” though, then that’s all you my man!
Kicks success is largely due to Twitch streamers funneling viewers and multi-streaming. It’s not Ad free anymore either, which is definitely going to change the ecosystem.
Less moderated? Expect that to change too as Kick expands and wants brands to advertise with them.
It’s a classic bait and switch. Gain users then flip. I have nothing against Kick, but I’m not delusional 😂
@UrBoutToLose@SonnyDigital Kai hasn’t streamed in 9 months, Speed has declined all offers from Kick. Druski doesn’t stream regularly. You just took an extremely small slice out of a very big pie.
Also, None of them further the MAU of Kick?
@UrBoutToLose@SonnyDigital A lot of assumptions packed into that.
If urban creators disproportionately influence online culture and consumer trends, then attracting them could be an effective growth strategy.
But I wouldn’t be 100% confident in that.
Pretty sure MAU shows market share buddy ol’ pal. Also, Kick grew fast because streamers multi streaming and funneling from Twitch to watch Ad Free (but we know that’s changing soon).
Platform that’s been around for 10+ years shows stability. Kick hasn’t been through the ringer yet.
You can’t predict entertainment perfectly from metrics alone, but you absolutely can predict it better than random chance.
Just because some washed up boxer is on Kick isn’t going to bring 100 million MAU.
No dick riding, just stating facts. Glad to hear you’re enjoying it though!
