[MUFC Academy @mufcacademy91]

I’ve held my tongue on the Shea Lacey situation since Brighton, but honestly, Carrick has been daft with this one.

You have a talent like Lacey, who scores on his first start, and you give him NOTHING after that. Meanwhile, we were without Amad and Sesko for a period of time and now resort to playing Bruno on the right multiple times.

Then you throw him on for a few minutes after a defeat and call it a day. What exactly is the plan here?

Anyone who knows Shea knows how much this club means to him. He loves United, gives everything for the badge, and went straight to the fans after yesterday’s loss.

Yet time and time again, United managers fail to trust academy players who are willing to run through walls for this club when things get tough.

A successful United manager has to understand the academy, trust its talent and give young players a genuine chance. Shea Lacey is one of them.

If you can’t find a place for a talent like him in this squad, then what exactly are we doing?

First over to the away fans at full-time, almost in tears. There’s a boy who cares and wants to make a difference.

[Scotty @arghkid]

"I prefer to kill him"

Conte managing Dalot would be BAFTA -worthy.

[Adam McKola @AdamMcKola]

Glazers. Ineos. Wilcox. Berrada. Please get fucked out of this football club.

[Tom McDermott @MrTomMcDermott]

If you are watching tonight’s game in isolation, you’d quickly come to the conclusion that #MUFC are a badly coached side. Poor in possession, disjointed without the ball and reliant on individual moments rather than creating anything meaningful. There’s little cohesion, no clear pattern of play and very little to suggest a team with a defined identity.

[Jake @Streams94]

😂😂😂😂😂

[Lyés @LyesBouzidi10]

Several people need to lose their job at full time. This is one of the darkest performances I’ve ever witnessed from this team.

[. @saundzo]

look at the lack of intensity, it’s disgusting

game after game after game after game after fucking game

we’re just sitting there watching them play football and there’s nothing we can do cause we cannot physically compete

[Sam Pilger @sampilger]

That was one of the worst halves of football I have ever seen from Manchester United. The players look completely gone.

[Jake @Streams94]

Bunch of useless cunts

[Jake @Streams94]

Yamaaaaal

[Fabrizio Romano @FabrizioRomano]

🚨 Erik ten Hag reveals to @TheAthleticFC: “In Ibiza, we agreed. I said: NO selling Scott McTominay”.

“Scott has United in all his veins: I said clearly: no exit”.

“And in the end… they sold him. I was very embarassed and disappointed”.

[(fan) Zaid ✍🏼🇾🇪 @ZaidBalll]

If that’s against United in the last minute it’s going into the top corner.

[Toto @Toto0397]

Not the system

[Jake @Streams94]

Coventry’s keeper is shite

[sully @sullyexcl]

it honestly just feels dull supporting united. i dont even get that mad anymore as i'm just used to it. the owners don't give a shit, carrick and his staff have been awful this season, and the players play like they don't care. feels like the soul of this club has been sucked out

[Sam Pilger @sampilger]

Manchester United finishing the game with 3 of their 4 defenders playing out of position shows a mismanaged club and why Lisandro Martinez was right.

[. @saundzo]

7 weeks since our last prem win.
5 1/2 weeks since our last win at all.
5 1/2 weeks since our last clean sheet.
No win in 6, all competitions.

[Sam Pilger @sampilger]

Really poor from Michael Carrick to wait until the 84th minute to make an attacking substitution today. This repeated timidity and lack of action is why his side have now won just one league all season.

[Jake @Streams94]

Rashford, Cunha & Lacey all the bench, no attacking changes whatsoever 😂
