At just 13 years old, Alena Analeigh McQuarter made history as the youngest Black student ever accepted into a U.S. medical school.
Now 17, this brilliant young queen has already graduated high school at 12, earned a Master’s degree, interned at NASA, founded The Brown STEM Girl to inspire other girls of color, and continues blazing trails in medicine and science.
Her journey is living proof that when purpose, discipline, and brilliance collide, nothing can hold you back not even age.
The future is in incredible hands! 👏🏽
Sitting in front of a camera 🎥 or venting behind a keyboard ⌨️ won’t change the current state of #HipHop culture, art, or commerce. We won’t gain real ownership or control through social media commentary or online debates either.
Radical change only comes from strategic and productive action — locking in at the #studio, perfecting your craft, getting educated on the #business side so you can make smarter decisions, practicing better business etiquette, and showing up with real professionalism.
These characteristics matter. The solution isn’t monolithic or scientific. It’s discipline.
What an unforgettable moment — receiving the NAACP Humanitarian and Community Service Award! I am so grateful for this honor and for everyone who made it possible, especially on Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
I am truly honored. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Let’s toast to success, health, and prosperity. I’m planning my new year. When I’m done, I’ll come out to play. You know everyone who plays with me wishes they didn’t in the end 😏 https://t.co/WtNREs3AKy
Worst part about Celtics losing is you begin questioning every decision you’ve ever made in your life. Do I need to start setting 6 am alarms to punish myself? Cold showers? Stop eating food? Start going to the gym? Donate my life saving to charity?
