Today's meal is homemade turkey soup with everything but the kitchen sink in it. Potatoes, carrots, celery, turnip, turkey, spinach and onions, plus a slice of bread. Nice hearty meal on this cold day. Thank you to Shirley for making such a beautiful meal.
Tonight’s meal made by Theresa is a tasty portion of chicken shawarma, served over turmeric rice with hummus and homemade pickled turnip!

Tonight's meal for our unhoused friends is delicious pork tenderloin roast in mushroom onion gravy with carrots and mashed potatoes, and a little dish of dill pickles. It smelled so good and I'm sure will be a comforting, healthful meal for our dear community.
Our Tuesday Team made a fantastic Salisbury steak dinner for our unhoused friends tonight. It had a mushroom gravy, mashed potatoes, and green beans, plus all the regular add-on treats as well.
Thank you to NBCC students Julia & Abby, for leading a donation drive on behalf of StreetTeamSJ and the Green Room donation centre. It was a huge success! 💚💚💚
@Brent4SJ@RedTory1 We agree. It absolutely can’t be all that we do. We see our role being similar to first aid responders. We lhelp people in the now, to help them get to tomorrow. Repeating to keep people around until there is permanent meaningful change.
