Congratulations to our four teams that made the finals today at the National Robotics Challenge. Gavin’s team placed 3rd in the Rescue Bot, Lucas’s team placed 4th in Rob Hockey, Cole’s team made top 6 in Robo Hockey and Denim’s made top 6 in Mini Sumo. @StreetsboroMS
Ryan Dietz was nominated for the Honda Innovation Award today. Over 500 robots from across the country were at the National Robotics Challenge. Only 13 robots which included high school and post secondary were chosen. Way to go Ryan! @StreetsboroMS

Yesterday our Math 24 teams from Defer and the Middle School attended the Portage County Math 24 Tournament. Fifth grader Oscar Wu was a semi-finalist and fifth grader Tamera Robinson won the t-shirt contest! Congrats to our teams and coaches! @HDISchool@StreetsboroMS
At the Middle School students in Mrs. Johnston's math class are learning about Pi! The class got to go outside to test circles diameter and circumference with non traditional measuring items: paper clips, actual walking feet, cubes, etc. @StreetsboroMS
