4 days until I do my sprint triathlon (500 m swim, 12.5 mile bike, 5K run). Easy week of training. Huge thanks to Grace at Myo Fit. If you have nagging injuries or just soreness go see her. I’m just waiting for my floaties to arrive. #cantswim
Today on my bike ride I saw this sign in front of Mr. Elliott’s house. Mr. Elliott taught Math at Clinton Prairie and Luke’s
mom (and aunts) all graduated from Clinton Prairie as well. It’s pretty neat to see that we are connected to an olympic swimmer!
Huge thank you to all the coaches and of course my good friend Mo. As I’ve been at BSU orientation these 2 days, I was worried about how things would go. You all (coaches and athletes) have been great! Appreciate you all!
Things said to me: “you provided motivation and instruction to work on their own.” “Man that (bracing) makes it a lot easier.” You all keep me motivated and focus as well. It’s aa 2 way street. Thank you all.
Summer weights is over. Thank you @Hoosierguy20@CPGopherVball@PrairieGBB and our trainer Laura Harrison for the help this summer. I also have to thank all the athletes that showed up. I’m thankful and appreciate you all. If there was anyone I forgot-my apologies.
@RonaldHuelskamp That hill is one the reasons cross country never seemed fun. 😂. I’ve ran that hill a couple of times over the last few years….and it is even worst than I’d ever imagined😂
Heavy bench then tire flips, push ups, and running. I love tire flips because for one it’s awesome. 2. Who’s going to lead-you try to flip you can’t. We all work together we can. 3. “Wow that wasn’t that hard.” Of course at the end, someone wanted to ride in a tire🙄😂
Now that is great, but ALL athletes improved form and technique while still matching their previous PR with better form. Thank you all for your trust in my programming and me. Lets keep getting stronger and more athletic. #appreciateyou
Improvement doesn’t always come in the form of bigger numbers. Today, we saw bigger numbers on squats-my favorite: I just did my last set can I keep going. I just hit my PR for 2. Can I go up in weight? Athletes hit 3 reps on an old PR.
