The law of God is written on the hearts of all humans. There’s a intrinsic awareness of what’s right and wrong across culture. It’s the justifications, rational, and intellectual arguments that defend our sin that makes us blind to this conscious
@strongblacklead@jadapsmith According to Netflix, every culture from all times periods over, across every continent, was always black. We live in the stupidest time period.
@sovereignbrah The Parasitical Class at the top wants to remain that way. They could only do so by constantly weakening anything that becomes strong or self sufficient.
@GOD_CHANGES_U @brysongray Yes that is the goal, the call to action “to be christ like” but no one achieves it on this side of life. Theosis is a lifelong walk accumulated in death. If you say you never think or sinful thought for even a split second you lie to yourself.
@DominicRealReal @brysongray What am I wrong on? I’m saved and sacrificed like any Christian. Does that mean I’ll never have a rise in temper? Get mad? Have a lustful thought? Have a flash of pride rise up? Of course not, it’s foolish to think so.
@brysongray This is the equivalent of saying you’ll never make a moral mistake again in your life once you believe in Jesus. No ancient Christian has ever believed that after accepting Christ, all behavior (physical, mental, spiritual) is all perfect.
@brysongray It’s not a issue of can’t. He does. But that doesn’t mean every single human action is now infallible. (Ex: like you’ll never slip up and curse/think a bad thought etc) it’s saying the cosmic guilt of sin is paid/past and future.
@brysongray If we had anything within us to conquer sin, we wouldn’t have needed the Gospel. I get Bryson believes after transformation you aren’t meant to sin anymore. But just because your spirit is transformed you are not “perfected”/you have a flesh body
@JosephJakeKlein The watered down milquetoast liberal version of Christianity that Americans have witnessed the last 50 years is a far cry from ancient authentic Christianity. Also, you follow a faith because you believe it to be true, not “because culture war bro”
“I thank Thee for showing me the vast difference between knowing things by reason; and knowing them by spirit of faith. By reason I see a thing, by faith I know it so.”
— Valley or Vision, Puritan Prayers
“Thanks to Bible Thinker, I went from liberal agnosticism to conservative Christianity. I was raised in a progressive church, and because of that, I fell for the atheist arguments at college. For years I was begrudgingly agnostic. I wanted SO badly to believe, but vocal atheists were more persuasive than pop Christians in my life, who all said that faith is blind belief. To reverse a phrase borrowed from you, my head needed to catch up with my heart.
One day last year something made me Google "intro to the Bible." That led me to your Spotify, and the rest is history. I was SO THIRSTY for the Word, and your apologetics made my head catch up with my heart. I bought a Bible & gave my life over to Christ. My marriage has been saved, and I'm now a better parent. All it took was for the rampant misinformation to be cleared up. I hope this testimony may help others who thirst so badly for the faith but need their head to catch up.
In Christ,
Ashley Graham”
I share this with Ashley’s permission. She hoped it would encourage someone who reads it to trust in Christ and start to learn how trustworthy and life changing God’s Word is.
@FranzLuxx I love when Elijah mocked the gods by asking them to do basic things like setting wood on fire, or said they must be sleeping. Whoever said there’s no Comedy in the OT hasn’t read it.
The claim that FedNow is not the first step toward a CBDC would be more easily digestible were we not aware of the Biden administration’s steady barrage of hostile broadsides against cryptocurrencies.
Between 2008-22, the Fed partnered with a handful of big banks to print $10 trillion-ten centuries of wealth in 15 years — a bonanza for the Banksters.
Cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin give the public an escape route from the splatter zone when this bubble invariably bursts. So the White House is colluding with the banksters to keep us all trapped in the bubble of profiteering and control.
In his Feb. 8 post on Pirate Wires, Nic Carter @nic_carter describes how the White House has organized bankers to participate in a sophisticated, widespread crackdown to destroy the crypto industry. Carter describes 15 incidents where President Biden has weaponized FDIC, OCC + DOJ to force crypto-friendly banks to close their doors to crypto firms since Dec. 3. The recent crackdown on crypto blocks exit ramps, removes alternative rails, and strengthens government control over both the financial and political systems.
We should be wary since CBDCs are the ultimate mechanisms for social surveillance and control. As Balaji Srinivasan @balajis says, “The distinction between FedNow and a CBDC is important from a technical standpoint, but not from a civil liberties standpoint.” Balaji compares FedNow to “a virus that has evolved to evade recognition by changing its sequence without really changing its function."
@TheGloriousLion For me divine revelation was a unfolding process and while there is truth in others- there is “completeness” in only one, and I find that in christianity. But I love my European brothers pushing in our common goal.
@TheGloriousLion I appreciate the Spirit of this post and agree with much. Of course I have a issue with multiple statements, the idea that the Christian God isnt the prime source which all “gods” flowed from and have their being. Just b/c the title wasn’t around doesn’t m/n the reality wasnt
