This year is the wildest year in 2k. Where the OGs at that know skill instead of cheating was more valuable. When viewers used to watch you cause your DIFFERENT, you was a dawg, hard to beat, people get nervous to pull up on you, most importantly RESPECTED. The game of NBA 2k has changed dramatically. The viewers watch cheaters now, and get influenced to cheat. Cheaters are posting videos on their jumpshot misleading the community because they have a titan or a zen. It’s all about “making content” normalizing losing to animations or a cheater now. Community cheating to TOP 10 for fake recognition. This is what the OG devs would’ve understood. The direction in 2k is changing ladies and gentleman.
Get ya content in and get out. That’s what it’s turning into. Accept losing to animations and hidden patches. Guess that’s what gaming is all about now. But I miss how the old 2k was built 😔
