Bode, Jesse, and I had an opportunity to spend a day on the Moto Morini X-Cape 650 adventure bikes recently.  Had a great time savoring some great Black Hills terrain... from twisty pavement to sweet singletrack.  These bikes are amazingly capable, especially for being as affordable as they are.  They're a great way to get into the sport.  I do love spending time on two wheels with these two young men!

What a race week at the Official Jack Pine Gypsies Motorcycle Club grounds with the big guns from @AmericanFlatTrk. Awesome short track racing early in the week, followed by the Super TT on Friday night. Dallas Daniels of Estenson Racing went flag to flag to take the win in the Super Twins class. Caught up with him after the races and he gave me the checkered flag to hang in the @AllKidsBike offices. Video is the first lap of the main. The photo is some hard working, fun loving staff wondering where to hang the flag.

Autocross!!! Inaugural McFarland Father-v-Sons Shoot-Out. Bode, Jesse, and I took the Lotus to the Black Hills Sports Car Club event yesterday and had a ball! I had the lead early, then Bode snagged fast time. Jesse wow-ed the crowd with the wildest high speed spin-out of the day, and then dad nailed the last run for the quick time of the day amongst the three of us. Both sons drove amazingly well, especially having only driven the car once or twice. I had the advantage of many hours and hundreds of miles of experience in the car. I hate it, well, actually, I love it, that they are surpassing me at everything these days.

Had half a day in Vienna after meetings and before the flight home. Amazing to simply go for a walk and take in the majesty of the architecture. A person could easily spend a week or more here.
