Watch here:

The board for a recently recorded game, very thematic Arnor vs Angmar (Buhrdurs lads), so obviously we had to include Weathertop! More coming soon!

[Striding Edge Games @StridingEdgeGMs]

Hill Troll number two! (I call him choppy). Glad I painted these lads all at once, was nice to match them together but good lord there was a lot of skin and cloth to paint, one downside to having such great quality models! 😅

First of the Hill Trolls sitting pretty in his newly conquered Weathertop! Love these guys, the models are absolutely fantastic to paint, and they're a lot of fun on the tabletop, especially popping out of an ambush! 😆

Some heroes of Arnor, ready to defend the weather hills and Amon Sul! With the appropriate backdrop of course. How many wounds can Malbeth's Gift of Foresight save? All of them apparently!

[Striding Edge Games @StridingEdgeGMs]

Theodred built and ready to head over to the Fords of Isen - nothing can go wrong there right? Need to get painting some heroes soon!

[Striding Edge Games @StridingEdgeGMs]

A quick little conversion for our Wild Warg Chieftain, as a Rohan player it'd be rude for him to be standing on a dead Rohirrim all the time! Swapped his base out for some rocks which works nicely with our boards (sneak peek of a Weathertop too!)

[Striding Edge Games @StridingEdgeGMs]

Some eBay rescues ready to join the channel terrain library, classic citadel hills! They're in need of a bit of restoration, but they fit nicely straight on top of the Realm of Battle boards, who knew!? 😅

Our latest Quest of the Ringbearer video is out now, with a surprise addition - The Grey Pilgrim and the Black Riders!

Can the Wizard fend off the might of the Nazgul? Or will he be cut down by a Morgul blade before he can find Frodo?

Watch now! https://t.co/GB0iHLHPCE

Our latest Matched Play Battle Report is out now on YouTube! 800pts of Army of Gothmog vs Reclamation of Osgiliath, it's a big one - with the two brothers getting stuck in!

Coming soon - Nazgul in Bree! Our first mission featuring mounted enemies, barmen and a mysterious Strider! This one was a ton of work but absolutely worth it, it was so much fun just to get the models out of the table! Keep an eye out for the trailer coming soon 😉

Well we didn't have to wait long from the preview yesterday did we?! New Helm and a supplement on the way, super cool! The on-foot Helm is particularly lovely 😍

Photos from our last few matched play games, sometimes you just have to pause halfway through a turn and appreciate finally having painted models on the table! 😂

Our next Army List Breakdown video is out, The Army of Gothmog! How do they fare in this edition? How do they work? And most importantly, how easy are they to collect? If you feel like getting started with a new army, have a watch!

What a difference a board can make! 😆

[Striding Edge Games @StridingEdgeGMs]

Our build of the Prancing Pony almost complete! Once the painstakingly hand cut shingles were added it was mostly a breeze of shades and drybrushes to get the her painted up, but still required a few late nights and lots of coffee! 😁

[Striding Edge Games @StridingEdgeGMs]

Buhrdur and his Hill Troll buddies all assembled and ready for the painting table. These Forge World models are absolutely gorgeous minis, and actually pretty simple to put together for once! 😀

[Striding Edge Games @StridingEdgeGMs]

Both halves of the Pony assembled and most of the wooden beams, doors and details in place, and some plaster added on - the Prancing Pony finally starts to come together!

Gondor Ruins! Only just got around to assembling some of these and wow people weren't kidding when they said they were super detailed! Can't wait to start kitbashing a few and combing kits 😁

[Striding Edge Games @StridingEdgeGMs]

The main framework of the Pony starts to take shape, it was a pretty involved process and lots of stopping and thinking, but honestly the best results came when we decided to just go with it and keep adding little details until we were happy with the results🙂
