@manuelaellela I feel you. 🥹🫶🏼💕
I saw there is one recently, that even if so many people already called her out for stealing their shots/photos but she keeps stealing more, shamelessly, as if nothing happened.
People obviously need Cloti or Tifa for clout, for real.
Sorry that i added watermark/text to every photo and screenshot i post.
So many (new) accounts have been stealing contents without permission or even basic credit lately, and i hate that.
The text might be a little distracting, i’m sorry about that. I hope you all understand.
Just a (not-so) friendly reminder:
Tifa is the only character Cloud has ever kissed square on the lips in the entire FFVII series. ( ˶˘ ³˘)♡

Rather than saying she avoided the subject because she “didn’t want to upset Cloud,” the original Japanese actually conveys that she felt it might be better not to bring up… such a sensitive topic.
The English localization somewhat reframes Tifa’s motivation. 🤷🏻♀️
ᝰ.ᐟ
In the original Japanese script, Cloud never says that Tifa has been “acting weird.”
That line exists only in the English localization.
Instead, Cloud’s original line trails off:
“Didn’t you remember, Tifa? That’s why…”
➊
Another significant difference appears in Tifa’s reply in the English localization.
Tifa’s actual line is:
“I wondered if it would be better not to bring it up.”
【触れないほうがいいのかなって】
The focus is noticeably different. 🤷🏻♀️

Chapter 9 (Tifa in the Lifestream) is hands down one of my most fave moments in FF7 Rebirth. ⋆˙⟡ ♡
It feels only right to extend the gratitude to FF7R developers, especially the writer-𝘢𝘮𝘢, for added such a stunning new original scene to the game.
This lifestream session is just insanely beautiful on every level. It’s like… a deeply emotional flashback that really hits—but only if you’re willing to (watch it by) slow down, take it in, and experience it with an open heart…
The way young Tifa and Cloud visually portrayed in this part…so pure and innocent…and yet there’s already this quiet sense that they’d need each other, and naturally complete one another..…
It’s just… the emotional impact of this scene was so overwhelming for me, it kind of transcends words.

Just throwing out a fun prediction: Cloud and Tifa are gonna kiss at least three times in FF7Revelation. 🫣
In the Lifestream, under the Highwind, and one final kiss before the end?
Well…
I agree with Leo. ☝🏼
Also, this is exactly where the issue lies. The original Japanese isn’t just implying, it explicitly frames it as a ‘precious memory.’ That’s authorial intent.
When English localization shifts that into something more ambiguous, it’s not just a stylistic choice, it changes how Tifa’s state of mind can be read, especially given her established memory instability.
Subtlety has its place, but not when it comes at the cost of clarity on something the original script chose to state directly. At that point, it stops being nuance and starts becoming reinterpretation.
And when that kind of shift happens repeatedly, it’s fair to question whether it’s still localization…or partial rewriting.

Dropping the tone aside, a few of your premises don’t hold when the context is restored.
Tifa did not ‘allow’ Cloud to take the blame in Mt. Nibel incident—her memory of that event was jumbled for 6 months, which the narrative later clarifies. That’s not complicity; it’s incomplete recollection. (So sorry if this detail is clearer in the original Japanese script, which may explain some of the confusion in the English version).
Framing her as ‘pushing’ him into harm also strips context. When they reunite after years, her behavior is about reconnecting and understanding someone who is already unstable—not coercion.
And the idea that she ‘doesn’t look for him’ afterward is contradicted by additional scene in Intergrade, which show she’s deeply affected and actively wanted to find him.
So these examples don’t demonstrate Tifa undermining Cloud—they rely on selective readings. And none of this addresses the central point: The FF7R Developers explicitly frame Tifa as the one positioned to ground Cloud, which the narrative consistently supports.
I’m not going to respond to your multiple replies across posts. I’ve already addressed the main points clearly, so I’ll leave it here. 👋🏼
The FF7R Developers have stated that Tifa is (the only) one capable of grounding Cloud whenever he begins to unravel. In other words, Tifa is the one who steadies Cloud’s soul.

You’re not actually addressing the argument, you’re shifting it to my ‘bias.’ Whether i’ve RE-played Remake and Rebirth, or not, is not the point.
The point is that it is the Developers themselves explicitly stated they positioned Tifa close to Cloud in key scenes (especially in Rebirth) to ground him. That’s not interpretation—that’s intent. And the game consistently reflects it.
If you disagree, you’d need to address that directly, because dismissing it as ‘bias’ doesn’t actually engage with the evidence.
Grounding someone doesn’t mean controlling them 100% of the time. It means being the one who can reach them when they’re slipping, and the game consistently shows that Tifa is the only one who does. The fact that Cloud struggles doesn’t invalidate her role; it actually proves how critical it is.
If your argument is that ‘because Cloud nearly kills her, Tifa isn’t grounding him,’ then you’re misunderstanding the concept entirely. The story explicitly frames Tifa as Cloud’s anchor, the one who brings him back when he’s lost.
A lifeline doesn’t stop the storm. It’s what keeps you from being lost to it.
