I completely agree. It was extremely difficult working around this limitation. I do give the team major props for handling CEX listings but this definitely feels like an oversight. Something that other teams can learn off of. But congratulations @PirateNation at the end of day

My take on the current state of Web3 gaming is that we are in early consolidation phase, and the meta for the next 12-18 months will be the formation of strong game publishing ecosystems that may be united by a single value accruing publishing token rather than having a token for each game. Not all new games launching will have their own (governance) token, they will instead bend the knee to ecosystem tokens that are easier to understand from an investment perspective.
