Today, Paperjam published something extraordinary:
A full-throated call for Luxembourg to establish a Bitcoin strategic reserve, authored by Mark Tluszcz, CEO of Mangrove Capital and Chairman of Wix.

What he lays out is a concrete, professional, fiscally sound plan for securing Luxembourg’s economic sovereignty in a digital monetary future.

Let’s break it down:

Why Bitcoin now?
- Over 2,600 institutions hold 14% of Bitcoin’s supply
- Institutional BTC holdings could reach 45% in 24 months
- $158B in U.S. Bitcoin ETFs and 150 public companies already holding BTC in treasury
- Bitcoin outperformed every asset class over the past decade and it's still early

Why Luxembourg?
- We have €1 billion in seized/confiscated assets via the BGA
- Our gold reserves = €230M. Replicating that in BTC = 2,000 BTC = doable
- We have a strong debt/GDP ratio, a world-class finance sector, and credibility to act
- We're home to the first MiCA license for Coinbase in the EU. Yes, we did that.

Why Bitcoin as a reserve?
- Decentralized → No central bank can print it away
- Scarce → 21M coins. Period.
- Liquid → Global, 24/7, fast
- Transparent → Every sat is auditable
- Uncorrelated → A true hedge against fiat fragility

And what’s the roadmap?
Start with 2,000 BTC via:
- BGA funds
- Partial asset reallocation
- Strategic sovereign borrowing
- Expand to 1% of GDP over 2–3 years
- Use dollar-cost averaging and Luxembourg’s custody expertise to manage volatility
- Show global leadership before others catch up

So, let’s say it out loud:
We’ve been talking about this for months.
When we launched the Orange Heart Initiative, it was considered “fringe.”
Now, one of the most respected voices in Luxembourg business is saying the same thing.

The IMF released a working paper on digital asset platforms today.

"Technology Fundamentals on Digital Finance" was the focus point of this paper.

As imagined, theres various hints of $QNT in here.

API harmonization's the top priority of FinTech in 2024.

Let's dive deeper⟶

The IMF begins by highlighting the term of digital asset platforms (DAPs) for FinTech innovations.

This paper introduces how DAPs are changing financial infrastructures through the management of tokenized assets and CBDCs.

There were multiple references in this to BIS CBDC projects, such as Sela for access enablers.

As we know, Sela was inspired by the API architecture of Project Rosalind.

As we can see above, both Singapore's Ubin & Canada's Jasper is here in the paper.

We've previously covered how both Jasper & Ubin utilize API gateways.

Below are some examples taken out of Jasper & Ubin's whitepapers across various progress points

Not only do API Gateways seem to be a focal point for these 2 CBDCs, but even the direct mention of Hash Time Locked Contract...Exactly like Overledger!

More importantly this is of course the exact framework that SATP utilizes in their standards.

The paper also mentions an DLT version fo TCP/IP... Once again exactly like SATP as they're now an IETF working group.

Previously the IMF had already referenced the use of API gateways & even it's support of the BIS Unified Ledger.

Once again in the access layer we can see they once again mention API Gateways in conjunction with other interoperability solutions for access.

Given the IMF's collaborative work with the BIS, this cooperation in standards agreement is no surprise.

From the G20's push for API standards, to the BIS Unified Ledger & now the IMF's Digital Asset Platforms.

It really seems like the world of finance is putting the API standards by Quant at the top of priority for 2024.

Faesers #Ausländerwahlrecht muss gestoppt werden!

Eine der schlimmsten Fehlbesetzungen der Ampel lässt wieder von sich hören: Innenministerin #Faeser (#SPD) setzt sich als Spitzenkandidatin der hessischen Landtagswahl für ein kommunales Wahlrecht aller Menschen ein, die „länger als sechs Monate“ in Deutschland leben. Damit würden auch vermeintliche „Flüchtlinge“ aus #Afghanistan, #Syrien oder der #Türkei wählen dürfen – auch ohne deutsche #Staatsbürgerschaft. Der deutsche Pass wird damit zur Ramschware gemacht. Vor allem aber: Faeser und die SPD wollen Menschen, die überhaupt keinen Bezug zu Deutschland haben, als neue Wählerschichten an Land ziehen. Verwunderlich ist das nicht, denn die als „Nichtmigranten“ verhöhnten Einheimischen laufen der #Scholz-SPD davon.

Das irre Vorhaben von Nancy Faeser, das nur so trieft von Verachtung gegenüber dem eigenen Land, muss gestoppt werden! Dazu haben die hessischen Wähler die beiden entscheidenden Hebel in der Hand: Erstens müssen sie der SPD eine epochale Wahlniederlage bescheren, von der man noch in Jahren reden wird. Und zweitens müssen sie mit einem Knaller-Ergebnis für die #AfD dafür sorgen, dass in Berlin auch der Letzte begreift: Wir haben die Massenmigration satt! Unser Land braucht keine Innenministerin, die die Abschiebung von Vergewaltigern sabotiert und illegalen Ausländern offensichtlich nähersteht als ihren eigenen Landsleuten, denen sie ihr Amt zu verdanken hat. #DeshalbAfD
