The news of all football stopping now for the season was inevitable. 8/9/10 yr olds not playing football for 2 hrs a week for 3/4 months really isn’t a big deal. Enjoy other things for a while. My kids will be painting the house and sorting the garden!! 😂😂

@hotdogfog Im neither for or against it. Both my lads enjoy it equally so I’m happy. But just thought if I said that with my 2 footy teams there’d be outrage. Non of the parents have an issue with it. Maybe it’s just a football thing ?? 🤷🏻‍♂️

My lads have started playing Basketball. The coach says 2/3 strongest players at the age group (8-11) will play more game time to develop them more to play higher. The rest will rotate equally. (I have a lad in each category) Is this a good idea? 🤔

@WazzaBarlow @OfficialBBDFL But if all the teams at u7-11s played futsal for 4/5 months during the winter where would they all play?? Surely there’s not enough sports halls locally to facilitate all those games?? We’re non competitive so just play when we can outside the schools hols all year

Saturday saw Freddie play his last game for Strikerz as he moves on to enjoy his football with another group of mates. It’s been an absolute pleasure coaching & getting to know Freddie the last few yrs & we’ll continue to watch him progress.
