Server cleanup is nearing completion. We’re finalizing the removal of inactive accounts while upgrading our infrastructure to prepare Strings Network for its next phase of growth.

Once completed, the mining rate will dynamically increase to reflect the improved network conditions.

The foundation is getting stronger. The network is evolving. The next phase is approaching.

We’ve recently updated the STRINGS mining infrastructure to improve reliability and connectivity.

If you’re experiencing issues starting a mining session, please try one of the following available servers:

🇺🇸 US — us-central1
🇪🇺 Europe — europe-west2
🌍 Africa — africa-south1
🌍 Middle East — me-central1
🇯🇵 Asia — asia-northeast1

The following servers are currently unavailable:

🇭🇰 China / Hong Kong — asia-east2
🌏 Southeast Asia — asia-southeast1

If you’re still experiencing connection issues, switching to the US or Japan server is recommended. A US or Japan VPN may also help in regions where connectivity to our infrastructure is restricted.

A note on the current mining rate 📉

Many of you have asked why the hashrate has dropped — here's the full picture.

Our mining rate is dynamic: it scales with active network participation, not a fixed number. We've grown faster than we anticipated, and right now a large portion of registered accounts have never actually started a mining session.

We're in the process of cleaning up inactive accounts that have had zero mining activity since launch. Once that's complete, the rate should recover.

This is expected behavior for a growing network, not a permanent change. We'll keep you updated as the cleanup progresses. Thanks for your patience and for building with us 🚀

Fair question! The hashrate is dynamic by design — it adjusts based on active network participation, not a fixed schedule. We've grown faster than projected, and a large share of registered accounts haven't started a mining session since launch. 🎉 Strings Network is 50 days old today!

We’re still in the early stages, so the number of people who have joined in such a short time has surprised us. Thank you to everyone who has supported Strings and helped the community grow.

Our plan, set before launch, is to build a DeFi ecosystem that connects Web2 and Web3 through useful products and integrations. We expected to grow steadily as we introduced more projects. This rapid growth is exciting, but it doesn’t mean we should rush development or lose sight of the plan.

The mining app was the first step. We’re proud it’s now available on both Android and iOS and is working as intended. We’ll share more about other projects when they’re fully tested and ready to use.
