After filing a police report, the total damages to her car amounted in nearly $3000. Additionally, there was no adequate surveillance cameras to capture the event, which poses a major threat in regards to campus safety and security.
We NEED data to show that a certain experience is real and must be changed. With that, we are seeking Black UG students to participate in a research study on their experiences at Texas Tech. At the end of the study there is an opportunity to win two $20 Visa gift cards!
Texas Tech’s President issued this statement on July 5, 2018. The letter condemns yet another reoccurring action of racism but also makes the point that the “Constitution protects the right to speak.” Below is the link to the official letter.
