@moreisdifferent I understand it’s good to see the mouth in theory but in my opinion it reinforces the harmful normalization of uncovered faces. I’d also be curious to know how this style fares statistically against the traditional type that is solid mask. You’d hate to risk ANY kind of seepage.
@keetmuise Covid Conscious have god given rights to home ownership. They also have likewise entitlement to not be bombarded by mass infectiousness.
A community of homes revolving around the paramount virtue of this way of life is hopefully something that will become a reality someday.
@DailyMail I was worried that Violet had reneged on her commitment to masking.
She’d gone totally dark on advocating for the cause since her powerful plea at the U.N.
Anti-maskers must’ve poisoned her with dangerous rhetoric.
@keetmuise Devout maskers are more or less certain to increase their lifespan. Not to mention their quality of life therein. Anti-maskers compile a wide array of communicable diseases. Every communicable disease takes its toll over time, and eats away at the allotted time.
@Kenneth33071904 As a rule of thumb, it’s prudent to presuppose anyone you encounter in public is infectious with SOMETHING, whether it be minor or major. Protect your air and maintain physical distance when in their midst. High capacity environments are an absolute dealbreaker.
@lonelysolipsist If people had followed the rules, things would’ve turned out different.
The mask mandates didn’t work, either, because people wore baggie blues below the nose. A rigidly enforced N95 mandate would be a game-changer.
@RiCKBANCHEZ It wasn’t an actual lockdown. It was a pale imitation of a lockdown. A real lockdown could’ve actually stemmed the tide of Covid. It’s still raging uncontrollably today because we went through the motions of lockdown instead of truly locking down.
@ModelAyshaMirza Until respirators are required in all settings of communal air, we’ll be perpetually trapped in this doom loop.
Uncovered faces in public environments simply must become a relic of the past if we ever aspire to get a true handle on curbing infectiousness.
@bbirdbPhD The unwillingness of most people to wear high quality masks as part of their daily routine has cost us dearly. It’s sabotaged our future, to be frank.
@broadwaybabyto Peoples’ resistance to lockdowns just illustrated the lack of care they had for the public good. No consideration whatsoever for the disabled, the vulnerable, the elderly. It illustrated that when it comes down to it, most people will step over each other. Really disturbing.
