~ Sinyati Daniel _ Longido Arusha.

Today, she is an ICT student who also supports and mentors younger students.
Proud, committed, and determined, Swaumu has rediscovered the dream she once thought was lost the dream of building a future through education and technology.

In Chidamsulu Village, Manyoni District, change has a name: Stella Njarika.
At 61 years old, Stella is not just a mother, she is a leader, a builder, and a symbol of what happens when women are given opportunity and support.
In 2024, everything shifted when @AmaniGirls_Org introduced the CMSG program in Chidamsulu and provided training on savings, loans, and entrepreneurship.
Today, she has repaid her loan, started building her own house, and most importantly, inspired other women to believe in financial independence.
This is the power of community savings groups.
This is the power of women supporting women.
This is the impact of grassroots partnerships.

Proud to share that Stromme Foundation Tanzania has facilitated the Act Now follow-up meeting.
The session aimed to reconnect with participants, track their progress, and provide continued support for their career growth. It also created space to gather valuable insights and lived experiences that will inform program improvement and strengthen future interventions.
Stromme Foundation support is turning vocational training into real economic power for young women.
What may seem like a simple skill hairdressing, tailoring, entrepreneurship becomes independence, income, and long-term resilience for entire families.
When you invest in education and vocational training, you invest in dignity, equality, and sustainable development. The impact goes far beyond the classroom it builds futures.

One child, one book, and one pen can change the world.
Education is more than a classroom it is the foundation of human development and the ultimate gateway to opportunity. When we invest in back-to-school programs, we aren’t just buying supplies, we are fueling the focus, discipline, and dreams that break cycles of poverty.
Every child deserves the chance to sit at a desk and write their own future. Let’s ensure no student is left behind this year.

Meet Magreth Phineas Mapolela (21)
Despite performing well in primary school, financial challenges and limited awareness about the importance of education forced her to pause her studies and work as a housemaid to support herself.
Her turning point came when she learned about the Bonga Program. Through the program, she has built self-confidence, strengthened her life skills, and gained practical tailoring skills that are shaping her future.
Today, Magreth aspires to continue developing her skills and establish her own tailoring business creating sustainable income and living an independent, dignified life.
Her story is a powerful reminder of what can happen when young people are given opportunity and support.
Yesterday, @StrommeTZ had the pleasure of welcoming visitors from the University of Agder, Norway. The students, who are in Tanzania for their field learning visit, had the opportunity to learn more about the work we do and the development programmes we implement across the country.
It was a meaningful moment of knowledge sharing and exchange, and we were truly impressed by their attentiveness and the thoughtful questions they asked about development work in Tanzania. We value such engagements that foster mutual learning and strengthen partnerships for sustainable development.

Stromme Foundation organized a stakeholders’ convening in Arusha, bringing together development and education stakeholders to strengthen collaboration and collective impact in the development sector.
The meeting aimed to present Stromme Foundation’s programs and strategic priorities, create a platform for stakeholders to share their ongoing interventions, and identify opportunities for meaningful partnerships.
Through dialogue and mutual learning, the convening sought to foster joint resource mobilization, promote knowledge exchange, and explore practical approaches to improving efficiency, coordination, and sustainability of development efforts.
Many young people in Tanzania and other developing countries who drop out of school are left struggling to find purpose, direction, and opportunities.
According to UNESCO, globally 272 million children and youth are out of school, particularly in low-income contexts where access to education and skills development is limited, which can leave their potential unnoticed.
Through Bonga program, Stromme Foundation supports the Government’s efforts to uplift young people within communities by providing self-awareness training and guidance in choosing vocational skills aligned with their interests.
These efforts enable young people to rebuild their confidence, acquire skills that match their aspirations, and achieve economic empowerment for more productive and dignified lives.
Empowered youth today, stronger communities tomorrow.

As we begin this year, we are reminded that every child deserves a safe, inclusive, and quality education.
Let this be the year we act louder, protect stronger, and invest deeper in the future of our children because their dreams matter, and their rights are non-negotiable.

Meet the power of second chances!
Through the Bonga program, Stromme Foundation is empowering out-of-school girls and young women to regain confidence, build life skills, and reclaim their right to education and dignity.
It's a journey of breaking barriers from poverty and harmful traditions to limited access to learning one girl, one story at a time.
