It’s a small sample size but based on the bar I’m at right now and social media it seems like the whole country rooted for the Spurs tonight. You love to see it.
@nuggetsfan4ever I’m just saying if you want voice change in the locker room, they should go all out then. Not just go with a lazy hire.
And it hasn’t been his ENTIRE tenure. He did lead this franchise to a cup for the first time in 20+ years not too long ago.
Also cant believe how whiny OKC’s fanbase has gotten. Gotta admit during my stint on NBA twitter the only respectable championship fanbase was MIA. They didnt try to rationalize shit with us. When everyone was crying about the super team shit they just told everyone to cry harder
So the part of me that wants nothing but peace in my life does not want to watch the Avs tonight. The masochist in me apparently wants to see how this train wreck ends. So I plan on watching tonight. #GoAvsGo
We talk a lot about how good a team has to be to win a championship but I don’t think we talk enough about how lucky a team has to be to win a championship as well.

@MileHighGreco It’s a big deal for sure but I think, at least for me, it’s because it was expected he wouldn’t play tonight. He looked so hurt in the last game and the fact that today was the first time he skated in a week felt like he probably was gonna miss the game tonight.
@nuggetsfan4ever Yeah a two week turnaround is so short. Some of the horses don’t even race the Preakness after racing the Derby just because of the quick turnaround
