BREAKING: WWE is officially inducting matches into the Hall of Fame in the form of ‘Immortal Moment’.
First for the 2025 HoF: The iconic Stone Cold Steve Austin v Bret Hart match from #WrestleMania 13.
Both men will be in attendance.
Promoters are either some of the most switched-on people I’ve met in wrestling, who absolutely get it, or some of the most bafflingly stupid people I’ve ever encountered in my life.
There is no in between.
@TitoSanTanaChez@ChrisVanVliet “Better” is subjective because I’ll gladly say I enjoyed DX a lot more. If the question is who was bigger or more impactful, it’s the group with Hogan in it.
The gates are wide open for any promotion to get the mix right. The right amount of in-ring, showbiz, variety, and corporate partnerships integrated with creative product placement. Too many revenue streams can eat the clock, kill the flow and distract from the art.
I’ll never forget the show where a performer who was playing a wrestler/owner was in an angle and booked himself in an unsanctioned match. The match was his idea, still wouldn’t sanction it.
“I am making a match and putting myself in it, but I absolutely do not approve of it.”
@fullrapscallion As a fan: Character & Charisma.
As a performer: Versatility & Character.
I got hooked on 1999 WWF and you'd be hard pressed to see anyone’s list of all-time great matches featuring anything from that time.
Super Mario Galaxy was fun. Loads of nostalgic Nintendo references. Favourite had to be Bowser Jr revealing the evil mastermind to be No Mercy Steven Richards.
The Original El Grande Americano's message for the man who stole his gimmick
"I've watched some guy running around impersonating a Mexican luchador... dating a Mexican woman only to try and convince all of you of being as authentic as me"
I don’t know if it’s HBK, Albert, or who’s call it is regarding people keeping their ring names or not, but I have sent @TERickySouth a special list of options I was saving up.
Not to jump the gun, but I’m looking forward to the debut of Artemis N. Falkmore.
