Reception showed an interest in shadows; we used an OHP to explore how light changes with different objects. They realised that things need to be translucent to project light & they worked together to make beautiful patterns and projections @ABCDoes #CHSRocks @nfowles5 @cebudd4

Yesterday, CHS took part in the North Solihull Sports Cluster Archery Event. Our 2 teams demonstrated excellent sportsmanship and application of skills taught at our afterschool club. Archers competed in 3 events and impressively, we came 2nd! #chsrocks @nfowles5 @cebudd4

Reception have been imitating the art of Alma Woodsey Thomas, the first African American woman to have a solo exhibition at New York’s Whitney Museum of American Art. They've used paint and mosaic techniques to represent her unique style 🌟 #BlackHistoryMonthUK @nfowles5 @cebudd4
