@Fire_King69 "I'm lost, and if you don't like the insult, don't approach strangers in dark alleys and tell them they didn't "see anything"."
He huffed, as he stretched his left arm while keeping his right side hidden under the cloak.
"And I could ask you the same question, creep."
@Fire_King69 The dragon slayer simply looks him up and down before scowling at him coldly.
"I don't give a damn what you were doing here. I have better things to do than watch some random creep."
The slayer readjusts his cloak so it hides his right side.
"Now bother someone else."
@Lexi_Rosen24 "I..."
He spoke as if he were about to give some great explenation, until he faltered.
"I don't know..."
"I don't even know where 'here' is... I've been running into a lot of weirdos recently, and I have no idea where they keep coming from."
The dragon slayer looks up, his eyes falling on @Lexi_Rosen24.
With a grumble, the Dragon King gets to his feet, coldly staring at the human.
"And what, exactly, are you supposed to be..."
-to receive any help. It wasn't like he was popular with the humans back home, but it wouldn't hurt to try, would it?
"Hey, kid. Where the hell am I?"
Not the friendliest way to start, but at least he's trying... Maybe.
As the dragon slayer was looking for a place to spend the night, he'd eventually find himself lost, in a place he didn't recognize.
After a bit more wandering, he'd come across @ZorudikkuKil, finally finding someone to ask for directions. Not that he actually expected-

@SonOfDeceit -and readjust his cloak so it covered his missing arm.
"I've done too much to see someone else waste their life on a meaningless objective just because they feel it's their "duty". Who knows, maybe you'll meet someone to live your life with."
The slayer turned, his eyes falling on @SonOfDeceit. With clear confusion in his eyes, he tilted his head to one side, an eyebrow raised as he readjusted his cloak to better cover his torso.
"And what the hell are you supposed to be? Another human, here to remind me of my sins?"
@SonOfDeceit "You want to know how you can help me? Go live your own life. Stop waiting for the attention of a person who dumped you down here. You're a human now, isn't that what you said? And humans have a habit of doing what they want."
He'd brush some of his hair out of his face-

@SonOfDeceit -once inflicted on me. That is my sin, and it cannot be forgiven. Nor is there any price too high for me to pay in penance for my crime."
He'd push his cloak away from his body, revealing he only had his left arm.
"I can't be helped. Though your concern's very appreciated."
@SonOfDeceit -slayers like myself who were raised by dragons, who considered the dragon that raised them to be their parent. Yet even those dragons weren't safe from my selfish wrath. I killed them, and in doing so inflicted upon those dragon slayers the same torment and pain the dragons-

@SonOfDeceit -purpose, but lasting change can only come from within. If you're going to live a free life, and decide your own fate, that's who has to do it. You. No one can do it for you."
"And if you do make your own choices, live how you want, you'll know what it means to be truly free."
@SonOfDeceit -years of being the monster, after so much death pain and blood, it may be too late for me to change my path."
He'd look up at the angel, for the first time actually looking him in the eye.
"But it's not too late for you. You can still make that choice, and find your own-

@SonOfDeceit -appear very sad, and tired.
"The thought of another making the same mistake is... troubling..."
He'd then look confused.
"And somehow, I show empathy? After all these many years of playing the part of the monster in my story?"
He'd grumble, "Too little too late..."
@SonOfDeceit "You follow a man, despite acknowledging how little he actually cares for you. I allowed my own life to become fixated around an idea. A task I thought was my 'duty'. And because of that, fate decreed I would forever walk alone."
He'd sigh, as his eyes sagged, making him-
