@Nigel_Farage We wouldnโt be in such a huge mess as a country had it not been for the likes of you and your followers drumming up unnecessary vitriol towards the only decent PM weโve had in more than a decade.
Leave Starmer alone and let him do the job our parliamentary democracy gave him the mandate to do. Donโt let non-dom right wing, billionaire press barons choose our leaders.
@piersmorgan Why should he step down? Heโs no worse than Cameron, May, BJ, Sunak, and Truss. Not perfect but weโre in a very ruthless, right wing press environment and with a madman in Washington itโs been impossible to do his job properly. Surely itโs less important to be charismatic?
@PeteWishart โฆand it started with the Eurosceptics in the Tory party, Nigel Farage and then Brexit. And exploited every day, ever since by non-dom billionaire press barons. What a shameful state of affairs.
Keir resigns because of a coup, Andy gets into no 10 by walzing in through the back door, the markets go into meltdown, Reform/Restore/the rest of the far right/Musk/Putin all rub their hands in glee. Anything else I need to add?
My sense is that, unpopular though Starmer undoubtedly is, much of the electorate are not happy with the prospect of a Prime Minister being overthrown by a combination of a media frenzy, desperate Labour MPs, and the personal ambition of Andy Burnham.
@Marikacobbold@thetimes I have zero sympathy for people like that. They removed my kidsโ rights to live and work in the UE and Iโll never forgive anyone who voted for Brexit.
@lancelachlan@lisanandy I live in Chile. A country that lived through 17 years of brutal military dictatorship. Today, all press is owned by the extreme right but there is nothing like the political hounding of leftist politicians here that takes place in the UK. Itโs shameful how SKS has been treated.
