This is one one those days i hate my brain. Why can't I just decide a thing? All the time waisted on not deciding would have given me plenty of time to do the thing.

I picture my ADHD as a twisted entity that somehow prevents that my stupidities burn down my house, but also prevents me from ever being on time by making something unexpected and inconvenient happen right when i want to leave the house.

@HowtoADHD For me personally yes. Not being able to stop and not being able to start things creates disabling problems for me. Partly because of societal norms, but mostly because I creates micro messes that involve no one, but completely stress me out.
@indubitablyND Oh my Lord...I'm so sorry that happend. This could totally happen to me. Like me thinking "why do I snel that weird bring smell"... And STILL not be alarmed.
FUCK ME! Again?!?
The amount of times i did NOT burn down the house (while accidentally leaving curling irons/toasters/gas cooker/etc on for HOURS) is unbelievable. Do all ADHDers have these wicked awesome guardian angels? Or is this just me🤔.

@ADHD_Alien I may suck at seeing priories in regular situations, but as soon as a crisis emerges my brain works like the matrix. I see all the lines connected and know what needs to be done. I can take charge and get it done. Regular situations stress me and but crisis calms my brain🤷🏻♀️.
@LyndallCave After my analysis I'd say my fidgeting is unconscious, automated self-regulation. Stimming is a physical sensation i consciously seek to self regulate. Once i notice I'm fidgeting it can become a stim if i consiously continue, being aware of the sensation and result it brings.
So. Honest question. I'm a little confused.
Whats your opinion on the difference between stimming and fidgeting? And what triggers this behaviour for you and what does it look like?
#askadhd#AskingAutistics#askasd#askingadhd
1. I flap my hand real hard, 3-5 times, to get a tingly painful sensation that distracts me/ helps me focus or refocus. (Stim?)
2. I play with my hair, scratch off things, build stuff from tiny objects, move my toes up and down etc.. to stay focused when someone talks. (Fidget?)
@Finnattentive Thanks! I can relate this to my eyecontact and food texture issues.. But i still feel that my stims and sounds sensory issues are ADHD related🙈. I'm gonna read some more about this to figure this out🙂.
Do you have an opinion on the difference between fidgeting and stimming?
@Finnattentive I have no problem with possibly being audhd, whatsoever. But i honestly thought many traits of ASD and ADHD overlap. But I'm here to learn. So honest question. Which ones of this list would you consider ASD traits rather then ADHD traits?
I'm legitimately confused. Who IS we? Who are these people? Can this passage be used as evidence that all my close friends are on some spectrum of #neurodiversity 😂
Are you familiar with this loop? #askadhd
playing catch up every day 🌀 work late hours to get tasks done 🌀look back at tasks and decide there is no reason to be this busy 🌀 decide to work more 🌀get tired and less productive🌀 still not catch up
My #ADHD fucks me over😖.
@ADHDJobs I totally feel out of control at the moment. And i do blame my ADHD for that. I also feel ADHD ruins everything for me. But i know that I'm the only one that can get that sense of control back. And by framing myself as a powerless victim of evil ADHD that surely won't happen.😬
