We have many adjustments coming in patch 11.08, but the goal of those is to refocus the balance between abilities and weapons across a lot of the game. While gunplay mastery will have a little more room to shine and abilities will require more intentionality, VAL will still play fairly similarly. This means we're making many cooldowns longer but we are NOT removing rechargeable utility from the game. We know what makes val it's own unique flavor of game and we want to be able to preserve that long term. Impactful and powerful abilities will always be a part of that, especially when coordinated well amongst high skill players. Real information & details will be out shortly next week!
