@KRennicks40@Danny40906984 I know what you mean and accept the manner of defeat was awful, it’s frustrating as every time autos are in touching distance we seem to buckle, tonight was horrendous , from the manager and the players, but they have enough credit and seem to bounce back on to Saturday 💪
@Danny40906984@KRennicks40 Hero’s last Tuesday, unbelievable on Saturday then the most horrendous squad, manager and owners we’ve ever had, come on boys pick up toys, we go again
@PieCarlton Patto has a lot of credit in the bank, but he got a lot wrong tonight, starting Grant, not taking Norburn off at HT when it was so obvious, he was as bad as the players. That said we always respond and I’m sure we will Saturday, it was a blow tonight but not a knockout
@grant_nation_ I’m no Grant fan and the fact he’s even near the 1st team at this stage of the season is a worrying reflection on Jan but no fans should treat their own player like that…. He’s human after all
@GaryPhi01097988@alexwest88 Grant isn’t the scapegoat he’s just not good enough, he’s had so many opportunities to prove us wrong, worrying that he’s still a starter coming into March
@alexwest88 Grant played well for 30 mins against Tranmere, other than that he’s been poor most the season created little and scored even less… yet some Notts fans think he’s the second coming of Messi, fact remains only 1 January signing is consistently starting, a bad blip today
@paulmoxey100@bobbytomncfc He’s a winger, same as Jarvis yet we asked them both to play wing back then wonder why they are weak defensively, both really strange signings unless we are prepared to change formation, setting them up to fail
@grezza2120 I think least mediocre is a fair comment, I’m just judging Grant over the course of the season, I believe other players have credit in the bank, whereas Grant consistently flatters to deceive
@PieCarlton@bramley_olly Interesting point, it’s not as pretty as last season but it was so boring to watch , we seem to create and score more goals this season any yet are not as pleasing on the eye …
@mgsevs@Adz03_ Yes and as a fanbase I think we are correct to challenge that statement, at the right time and in the appropriate way, as the evidence suggest it’s not being invested in that area. I wish they would show the same intent they did when signing the likes of ML, Bass etc
@mgsevs@Adz03_ I think it’s also fair to say we are in a position to reinvest monies earned from transfer fees due to the owner’s previous transfer activity, just about all the players that have been sold were brought by the brothers,
@mgsevs@Adz03_ Honestly mate I’m in agreement with the opinion on recruitment, it currently looks very slap dash, I just think it’s also disingenuous to say money has vanished when it’s clearly being spent, just currently not in the areas where we want or more importantly where promised
