The Democratic Party’s response to DSA winning elections is not to reconsider its approach and do more to deliver for working people but to do a red scare and float procedural maneuvers to prevent Democratic Party voters from being able to vote for DSA candidates.
Loser shit.
🔥 @RoKhanna campaigning for @AbdulElSayed:
“The last people who have any right to lecture us about electability are the establishment who lost to Donald Trump twice. I don’t want to hear it. If you had anything to do with those campaigns, please sit down or exit stage left.”
It is important to resist the commodification of basic human needs. Food, water and healthcare cannot be subordinated to market considerations or geopolitical interests. Access to adequate food is a fundamental human right grounded in the dignity of every person. Meeting this need not only alleviates suffering but also addresses underlying causes of geopolitical instability. Indeed, food security is an essential component of global and integral security. https://t.co/DgkM9RegJ7
If Democrats nominate Joe Biden, he may win, and we'll have four years of weak, feckless Democratic leadership. And then, in four years, he'll be defeated by a Republican Party even more openly white nationalist. If you nominate an Obama redux, you'll just get a worse Trump redux
Respectfully, that’s misleading. It was a multi candidate race, everyone competing for votes. Steyer opponents and anti-Steyer outside groups spent upwards of $145 million combined— with more than $75 million going toward Becerra, direct anti-Steyer spending, or (smaller) Hilton.
"Pay attention. Know what you deserve, and know who is on your side. Understand who the villains are, and say their names out loud. Continue to demand more from your leaders and your government, until they give you the California – and the country – you know you deserve."
@TomSteyer@KevinLiao_ Thank you, Tom. Your campaign may have fallen short of the GA but no doubt you’ve succeeded by laying a bedrock of progressive policies that will live on and be driven forward by future leaders in California
@MicholasSleigh@TrungTPhan Ah dude but what about her incredible “credit” she got “on her CV” that’s so worthwhile and going to enable so many employment opportunities? Which is it?
