@ScotsPolFed The wooly language around the Fraser and Allan report is pretty disappointing.
I appreciate this offer going out to consultation. We need far more of that, and let members actually have a say on what is accepted and what is rejected
@1edmountain@PoliceScotland Local council deal with "fly tipping" in Scotland. If it's on private land then the responsibility lies with the land owner unfortunately.
If you want any of that changed you'll have to speak to your MP / MSP
@RogerthePolice @DJVC8834 the papers are reporting that the grabbing of the throat was accepted as not happening and that the only use of force that wasn't proportionate was the suggested use of leg restraints.
I appreciate the papers are often wrong but it seems a weirdly specific bit to report on
@SjBarrister@Brick_Cop@ukhomeoffice I don't think we're getting anywhere here given you think that the UK police are equivalent to the stasi and that this line of thought makes you a rational thinker because you've referenced one or two incidents
@RogerthePolice @DJVC8834 It was accepted that he did not grab the subject by the throat and that his use of force to take him to the ground was proportionate
@SjBarrister@Brick_Cop@ukhomeoffice No, but you're taking one incident and extrapolating it over the entirety of the UK police. Similar I'd say to blaming one person working for a company for the faults of others in the same company. I'd suggest that someone thinking rationally wouldn't do that
