@leeinthelakes Morning Lee, loving your book. I'm interested in your botanical comments. Is there a way for us normal people to grow things like pyramidal bugle in our gardens to keep the species going? Or is it so protected that seeds of it are banned?
Yvon Chouinard is an incredible human, well done @patagonia. Time to follow suit @meta, @Twitter, @elonmusk, @JeffBezos, etc. Let's end the stupidity of the shareholder system, which does nothing but damage the planet.

@AlanMartin32A@BulkyBalkan74@KateEMcCann Oh, and rejoin the EU in full. Brexit was mindbendingly stupid. Government failure to also build an 80% nuclear power base over the last 40 years.
@AlanMartin32A@BulkyBalkan74@KateEMcCann Higher taxes are not optional. State higher tax rate should return to 60% for people earning over £500k pa, graduated below that. Bring in the financial transaction (aka Robin Hood) tax. Raise corporation tax and stop entities tax avoiding once they're earning over £1M pa. #done
'As a result of your podcast, I will vote Labour for the first time in my life.'
This caller says his political needle was 'so badly nudged' by James O'Brien's interview with Keir Starmer that he 'fell off' his stool.

Odey has just argued that "the historic rout in the wake of Kwasi Kwarteng’s tax cuts was triggered by Remainers in the City who “hate” the Government"
So global trade is run by UK Remainers now? Well! I never thought we had such supernatural powers...

Just heard @WhisperingBob's Radio 2 C&W show from Wed and his interview with @carlypearce. How have I not heard her stuff before?? #everylittlething, an absolutely sublime track; it encompasses everything I love about the genre. Utterly wonderful, new fan for you here Carly. X
@TheStaunton @JTabulazero @tconnellyRTE@rte You're an idiot. The Falklands was a massive embarrassment for the British. We lost good people because the money was taken out of Defence and the Argentinians tried to take advantage. Bayonets were needed because we had such poor weaponry. Maybe stop talking occasionally.
NEW: income inequality in US & UK is so wide that while the richest are very well off, the poorest have a worse standard of living than the poorest in countries like Slovenia https://t.co/gtHvhNsnuT
Essentially, US & UK are poor societies with some very rich people.
