@OpenNoteGrapple Once you can separate the hands then you can go to various 2 on 1's similar to some of the work Mcgregor and Leon used to do.
I think you should treat wall wrestling as a seperate martial art. It has footwork, body positioning/shape, hand fighting, movement and striking.
@OpenNoteGrapple The other idea when facing the wall is being left or right shoulder in, rather than head first. Considering it like most guards, I don't want to be flat, pick a side and work it, you can always change direction. You have to learn to set traps and give openings.
@OpenNoteGrapple Firstly you have to learn to break the grip, basically pin the grip in place with one hand and peel the grip via either the thumb or pinky depending which hand is on top. It's honestly not that hard.
@OpenNoteGrapple I wonder whether Loni played the classic "those front kicks worked, I'll use them" when planning for Moreno. His snap kicks were brutal and mix in really well with the calf kicks.
It's been an awesome 6 months training with @stuartaustinmma and team.
Cancellations and pullouts have kept me on the shelf, but it's been refreshing to train without a fight booked after 4 active years.
I will be fighting soonโณ

22 fights in the ufc I never once eyepoked somebody. Iโm starting to think guys are doing it on purpose. Refs should take more points. At the same time a lot of mfs be faking.
