I'm baffled by Jodie so far, she just keeps doing seemingly random acts for no reason. Her petty vendetta against Shona has been odd, her literal mystery box is even odder, and now she's sabotaging Daniel's life and career to presumably just keep living with him? #Corrie

We're very sorry to hear of Alan Rothwell's passing and extend our sincerest condolences to his family at this very sad time.

He created an iconic and memorable character in David Barlow and will forever be remembered as one of the original cast members of Coronation Street.

I get why people are annoyed with Corrie killing another abuser rather than have them face criminal justice, but given that Todd was free and Theo had been exposed I am fine with him dying. Had it been Megan then I would have an issue as Will hasn't seen the light yet.

Thoroughly enjoyed Corrie's murder week. I'm content with the victim being Theo, the story thread was clearly at an end with Todd out of the relationship and the abuse exposed. I wasn't even put off by the special filming style as I felt the run of episodes deserved to stand out.

Good, in fact great episode, but yeah it was a foregone conclusion to me going into the ep. Literally every single piece of info we had pointed in his direction. Why on earth the Corrie press team released a photo of where the body would be found escapes me.

I feel like Corrie have revealed too much about the murder episode, it feels incredibly incredibly obvious who it's going to be at this point. I do hope there's something surprising about, but all the marketing points in one direction.

The Morton family took a while to set in but, once they shed the dodgy grandad and the dull older sister, they actually work really well to me and feel like a real genuine family unit. I wish they'd have been kept on a while longer.

@ConversationStr Currently everything I've seen heavily leads to it being Theo. From a narrative stand point I'd be satisfied with that, but I do want to be wrong and be surprised come Thursday. Either way I hope it's a good episode, especially because it's my birthday too lol.

I'm incredibly tired of Corrie's preachy issues-based speeches that are said by a character whilst we see a montage of characters involved in the storyline. I just roll my eyes and tune out, it's lost all impact and just become another noticeable trope.
