HomePod mini appears to have completely bricked itself having lost power during an update, now totally unresponsive. No hardware buttons of any kind on the unit so cannot flash it. What a waste

Bought a refurb base spec M4 Mac Mini. It’s super snappy, compact and not a peep out of it. Not sold on liquid glass & bash is a bit of a learning curve, but overall it’s pretty stellar!

@eamokeane Not yet. Got a free trial to Gem 2.5 a few weeks ago. Managed to vibe my way to a Jekyll site & host on github, through the grace of LLM's. Need a new project to mess with CC and Gemini CLI. Very cool stuff - Google very happy to burn all the money acquiring users atm 🔥

Asked Claude Sonnet 4 to generate a PS script to automate a repetitive task. Not only only did it one-shot the PS script, but it also included What-If parameters, enhanced logging, examples & a how-to guide without asking.

3.5, I could get a script, but this is pretty wild.

@Luas Green line. I was on harcourt-stephens green when it happened. Phone hit the floor and slid under the ridge between carriages. On the side you exit for stephens green. Don't know tram no. sadly and battery has since died, not worth dismantling the trams to find. Just unlucky :/

@nwilliams030 Crux of problem is whether that’s voluntary or not. If involuntary, it seems obviously bad Imo. Think many would rather marry and have kids earlier if they could but don’t feel they have the financial security to do so, puts their life on the back-burner
