Great day for litter picking with Moorland Community Centre - Lincoln and volunteers from Balfour betty.
Lots of rubbish picked up and also reported fly tipping around the area on the bigger rubbish.

🚨A Reform government will release ALL files on the Grooming Gangs.
Not a single council worker or police officer in Greater Manchester has faced criminal proceedings for their role in this betrayal.
Labour’s 7 month delay in acting on Baroness Casey’s call to preserve records is unforgivable.
A Reform government will shatter this wall of institutional protection.
Within our first 100 days, we will release every file, email, memo and record held by central government, local authorities, police forces and the Home Office relating to grooming gangs across the UK over the past 40 years.
The identities of victims will be protected, but no official will be allowed to hide.
Today at full Council meeting l asked Cllr Natalie Oliver executive for Children and Culture, about improving SEND progress and communication with parents and teachers.
Cllr Oliver responded that she has requested for officers to look into options to deal with the capacity issues, to improve quicker responses to both progress and communication with parents and teachers. Also creating 600 spaces.
Full answer in video.

🚧 Major embankment repairs on Yarborough Hill in Lincoln are due to start from Monday 15 June and will continue for up to three months.
The works will reinforce the embankment above Whittons Park, install new drainage, improve the road surface and footways, and help prevent future ground movement issues.
The project includes:
✅ Over 10,000 tonnes of stabilising material
✅ 275m of new drainage
✅ Safer footways and road surfaces
✅ New street lighting, fencing and kerbs
✅ 10 new trees planted in Whittons Park
Traffic management will include temporary traffic signals, narrowed lanes, footway closures and some overnight road closures later in the summer for resurfacing works.
Access to Whittons Park from Yarborough Road will be closed during the project, but access from Long Leys Road will remain open.
These works have been carefully coordinated alongside upcoming Tritton Road and University Roundabout improvements to help minimise disruption.
