Spotted this ringed Herring Gull yesterday at Margate, Kent. Right leg: small metal ring. Left leg: orange ring, F8FT. Would be interested to know where it was ringed. @_EURING@KentishPlover@KentWildlife
Discovered this fascinating three-way arch bridge in #Crowland yesterday while visiting various poultry farms in Lincolnshire. Google tells me it's 14th century and Grade 1 listed. @EnglishHeritage
When out looking for oil beetles also check for the tiny midge feeding on the secretions of the beetle (kleptoparasitism) - last year spotted by the Devon fly grp. Images from https://t.co/CI3PSNs3WB
Fundi Bots on BBC Africa! The (longer) radio segment aired this morning. This is a highlight video showcasing some of the work we're doing.

The blog https://t.co/LynUnhek1R @GeneralMills contains this interesting photo showing traditional mud homes being replaced by block wall and tin roof homes. Visual evidence of #beekeeping helping #farmers and their community out of extreme poverty.
Congratulations to John Home who will receive the "Master of Excellence in Bee Farming" award at BeeTradex. Thank you John for your amazing contribution to bee keeping in the UK & Africa visit John at the #beesabrod stand #bees#beefarmersassociation#beetradex
@BBCBreaking@metoffice I’m getting fed up with these yellow, orange and red weather warnings on the news. It’s a cold spell of weather, we can expect snow and cold winds. Get a grip!
