This once great platform has become a toxic cesspit of cowardly anonymous trolls. Only remaining here for public transport talk.
You’ll find me on Facebook.
Would be impossible to design the Caulfield transfer worse
Having built elevated rail on the Dandenong corridor and later dug a trench at Neerim Rd, two opportunities arose to create a flyover so at least one of the inbound/outbound changeovers was on the connected middle island
🏢 The inaugural Urban Forum is underway at #NGA2026, with opening contributions from Minister @ClareONeilMP, Senator Andrew Bragg (@ajamesbragg), Chief Minister Andrew Barr and ALGA Vice President Mayor @CrStuartJames. Getting into the key issues of concern for Australia’s urban councils.
Buses replacing trains between Caulfield and City.
For some reason Bus is express Caulfield to Burnley. Why not Malvern East? Surely a lot quicker? @metrotrains
“Passengers for East Pakenham or Cranbourne go to Platform 12 and change at South Yarra” @metrotrains
Next train on Platform 12 is in 10 minutes. Cannot move.
Completely empty Sandringham train promptly arrives on Platform 13 and leaves empty.
This is disgraceful from @newscomauHQ.
His wife was in labour.
Calling childbirth “wife drama” is lazy, sexist and deeply disrespectful.
Words matter. Headlines shape attitudes. They can either challenge misogyny, or quietly reinforce it.
This one reinforced it.
Do better.
So @westpac allow “eligible customers” to deposit cheques via their app, yet no one knows what that is, not online chat, not ring customer service or visiting a branch NONE. It’s 2026 & I have to go to a branch to deposit a cheque
Regret moving from @nab

On top of that, they won’t let me link my savings account to my credit card and force me to have two cards. Understanding why @westpac is a cheaper offering.
Train sits empty on Platform 1. It’s the shuttle between Richmond and Caulfield.
But our train from Oakleigh is 3 minutes late, so the empty shuttle train departs with 10 people on board.
Amazing @metrotrains
