@Alan_Tonge Unless we can get either Luis Enrique (very ambitious) or Julian Nagelsmann (ambitious) then I’d go with Carrick, give him a one-year deal and see how we do. I do wonder if he’s a bit soft with the players, like Ole was, but you can’t argue with his record overall.

@SimplyUtd @sistoney67 Why do they all have to start? Surely the idea of a squad is to have options from the bench, something United don’t have. No one ever made the argument of how Sir Alex had to try and get Yorke, Cole, Sheringham and Solskjaer into the same team. All about options.

@Alan_Tonge Where do you even start with that? We were dreadful before the red card and never improved. Totally devoid of focus, intent, speed and quality. And Amorim’s tactics… should be 2-3-5 not 5-3-2 against ten men and chasing a game.

@KJMsport57 @Alan_Tonge Not discrediting Forest, they were unlucky with the first United goal and played well on the whole. Totally deserved a point. But Alan and I are United fans dissecting United’s performance! That first five minutes after HT was horrendous from United’s perspective, really poor.
