Great to be at the opening of 8 new Village Gateway Signs unveiled in my Cllr Ward of Rushmere St Andrew.

At 104 yrs young, Edna cut the ribbon with residents watching on, as part of community initiatives to strengthen the identity of the Parish.

Last night I attended the @CitizensAdvice AGM. As a County Councillor it was a privilege to present Barbara Rose the SCC Chairmans Award for her community work.

Having worked for CAB for 21 yrs she fully deserves her recognition.

Great to have funded the Community Hut at Rushmere St. Andrew. It will now be open to the whole community to connect, chat & support each other.

A tour showed a wide variety of produce & a bumper crop of pumpkins just in time for Halloween!

Great to meet with @Project21uk as they got to work on new premises. They are a charity running activities & events for people with Down’s Syndrome.

Paul helped show me how to sand a door & they are all working hard to get ready for the new season.
