@bnicholsonsmith@bnicholsonsmith 2022 wildcard vs Seattle. Decision to take out Yimi Garcia who only faced 2 batters, gave up no hits in the 7th inning to be replaced by Anthony Bass in 8th inning giving up 3 runs (a big risk because you don't know if next pitcher has control that day...nope).
@ShiDavidi@ShiDavidi 2022 playoff. Decision to take out Yimi Garcia who only faced 2 batters, gave up no hits in the 7th inning to be replaced by Anthony Bass in 8th inning giving up 3 runs (a big risk because you don't know if next pitcher has control that day...nope). Seattle wins 10-9
@thehazelmae@ShiDavidi Remember last year's collapse in bullpen? Decision to take out Yimi Garcia who only faced two batters, gave up no hits in the 7th inning to be replaced by (a big risk because you don't know if next pitcher has control that day) Anthony Bass in 8th inning giving up 3 runs.
@Kirk2hof As much as I like Ohtani, I don't see this happening. Atkins/Shapiro are not signing A-List players...even for a "Win Now" season. I also do not expect much at the trade deadline in July.
@JOHNDOO15375282@BlueJaysDad I'm thinking of him as a rental. In 7 months time, the Angels will not be in playoff picture and Ohtani will once again be floated as a rental. Shapiro and Atkins need to save their jobs. Win now. Pay the rent now or pay rent in 7 months.
@jonmorosi Heard you on the radio today saying the Jays need a left hand batter who can hit and play DH. What about Ohtani for 1 year? You can never have too much pitching. Mets and Yanks loaded up. What would it take to make this happen? Win now #NextLevel
@bnicholsonsmith@Sportsnet Cueto hasn't seen a good year since 2016. I say @BlueJays need better pitching scouts because they just let Stripling walk....don't look here...see the shiny new ball park?
@RobWong34 Bo doesn't have the arm strength or speed to be the superstar shortstop so that is why he is always making the running throws rather than planting his feet first then throw. Too many errors because of it. Also out of position because too slow.
@Sportsnet@kbieksa3 Bieksa's comments about Elliot was the dumbest things we've heard clearly. Look back at @kbieksa3's first broadcast a few years back and this one beats it.
