Most heartbreaking thing about that line?
Maria knows what's going to happen.
She doesn't know the specifics and doesn't want to know, but the moment Maria asked Shadow "where did you learn to fight like that" is the moment she realized that Shadow will fail to cure her.
@KingpinThawne The MCU's Steve Rogers is probably the best example of this sentiment. America is literally in the name, but Winter Soldier and Civil War show Cap directly opposing America's most infectious and horrible practices. Showing how American patriotism does not mean pro-US government.
Plot twist: Rick & Morty actually is at its prime now. It's just now the worst of its fanbase is gone, and its most toxic creator also left.
People prop the first two seasons far too high, in my opinion.
Play 12 sports with intuitive motion controls when Nintendo Switch Sports Resort, the latest game in the series, releases exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2 on Oct 22! #NintendoDirect
In terms of artistic flare and creativity? CD is king.
In terms of approachability and "fun" factor? 2 is king.
It all really comes down to whether you prefer Sonic 2's simple linearity or Sonic CD's complexity.
... but hey, Sonic 2 has Super Sonic and Tails, soooo
If this fraud is a descendant of Eggman, that implies Eggman impregnated some poor woman.
Eggman's "child" is his own personal ChatGPT with feelings lol I don't think he's finding a mate anytime soon.
And isn't Eggman in his 50s or something?
@THENEWOmegan But didn't Eggman have like 2 or 3 brothers? It'd make more sense for him to be a descendant of Eggman if Nega was his great nephew or something. It'd explain why he looks so similar.
If he was Maria descendant, it's way less likely they would look so similar.
I truly don't think Sonic Team would become greedy and possessive of Sonic with Paramount in the same way they did with Big Red Button.
Paramount has no issue telling their own stories, and they've proven themselves to Sega. I predict they'll be pretty hands-off.
People keep making the comparison to Big Red Button and Sonic Boom, but guys it's not nearly the same.
The Sonic franchise had a terrible reputation at the time, and Sonic Team were more than desperate.
But now, the movies exist and the 2020s have been Sonic's biggest success.
You heard it here first
Videogame and media unification at Paramount has begun
The Sonic franchise had discussions about this for it's upcoming games along with SEGA of course
