This week, he and 30 of his peers went to the California Fish and Game Commission meeting to make public comments and deliver all of the support the chapter had gathered over the last three years. He was even featured on the local news! What a way to wrap up his college career!
Congrats to our Student of the Week! Jake is a 4th yr Econ student at @ucsantabarbara and the Board Chair of CALPIRG Students. Jake got involved in CALPIRG over three years ago working to protect the California coastline.

Congrats to our Student of the Week! Claudia is a 2nd yr Env Science major at UMass Amherst & is running the Save the Bees campaign. For Youth Earth Week, Claudia organized an outdoor concert called "Jam for the Bees" to build support for restricting bee-killing neonic pesticides

On Monday, we held our annual federal lobby day in DC. Our 23 volunteers from 7 states + DC meet with 43 legislative offices to raise student voices and advocate for a better future - addressing textbook affordability, food waste, wildlife crossings and the right to repair!

This week, Gabe not only got on live radio to discuss our new textbook report, he has also been organizing in Ann Arbor to build support for the our Heated Bus Stop initiative, which is part of a larger public transit campaign. Nice work Gabe!
