TL;DR: Administration says “Scr*w the placements, Scr*w the internships, just have 100% attendance in classes.”
“Administration wants protests.”

Admin: “Your attendances are low, your CGPAs are low, you can’t perform well in companies.”
Director: “Companies only visit CSE and ECE so why are other branch students skipping classes?”

Result: MANIT Students protest.
This shall continue further. The administration wants protests. We don't want to protest, we want to study, we want placement. Institute should encourage us, instead they want us to ruin our future, they want us to attend outdated courses!(14/14)

Admin: “All requests are completely denied. You will be detained from Midsem and Endsem exams as well if your attendance is poor. If a student maintains 100% attendance between Minitests and Endsems, he will not be detained in Midsem.” (14)
