#WATCH | A convoy consisting of 12 buses left from Sumy, Ukraine earlier today. All Indians there have been evacuated. Officials of the Indian Embassy & Red Cross are escorting them. Bangladeshis & Nepalis have also been facilitated. They are currently enroute to Poltava region.
Team from Embassy of India is stationed in Poltava City to coordinate the safe passage of Indian students stranded in Sumy to Western borders via Poltava.
Confirmed time & date will be issued soon. 🇮🇳n students advised to be ready to leave on short notice.

Situation in Sumy, Ukraine is terrible. Many Indian students are without electricity, food. Multiple students have messaged in last 2 hours for early evacuation. The Russians, Ukraine side really need to create the humanitarian corridor urgently & allow 130 busses to rescue them.
Hectic discussion in Delhi over evacuation of Indian nationals esp those stranded in conflict zones like Kharkiv, Ukraine. India is in touch with global capitals.
Advisory to Indians in Kyiv
All Indian nationals including students are advised to leave Kyiv urgently today. Preferably by available trains or through any other means available.
