Saddened to hear of the passing of former MLA and Mayor Billy Joe MacLean — a true champion for Inverness and all of Cape Breton.

Billy Joe dedicated his life to public service, always standing up for his community with passion and determination. From the council chambers to the legislature, and back to Town Hall, his impact was felt across the province.
