My bee game has six playable queens and five of them break the rules in some deliberately unfair way. The sixth is balanced, sensible, and called Steadfast.
A playtester told me she reloaded her save because a bee named Doris didn't come back from foraging. There's a little obituary when that happens. I've been making this game for two years and that message is the proudest I've ever been of it.
@RestartCarl Yes it will! There is a build optimised just for Steam. The controls aren't quite there yet in the demo, but they will be solid by the time of the full release.
@TheComedyKetzer Sorry, I've finished playtesting for the time being, but the demo will be out on Steam, hopefully this week! So I'd love your feedback on the demo ๐
This indie dev is making a bee hive simulator with deep roguelike strategy.
- It has a realistic stock market where you sell your honey.
- Wasps can attack at any moment.
- If you don't store honey for winter your bees will die.
It's called Wild Hive. Would you play this?
