Planning submitted for a new dwelling in a garden.
The house gently touched the ground on stilts as not to disturb the existing landscape and allow the ecology to remain. It was also to reduce a huge carbon related cut and fill exercise.

Rebuilding existing a Welsh long barn into a new contemporary home. We’re recycling the materials on site. Photo two shows the moss still on the stone, an important detail that gives its sense of place.
Congratulations to Aneurin, Nate and Carys for winning the RSAW award for re-interpreting the Public square in front of Cardiff Train Station.
Thanks again to Elinor Weekley and the team at @The_RSAW for putting on an excellent event and awards ceremony.
To celebrate our tenth anniversary our friends @hello_creo popped up to interview everyone at George and co. From why we set up the studio, to experiences within the industry. Looking forward to sharing parts of the film over the coming weeks.
We are 10!!! And a half. Earlier this March we turned 10. We’ve enjoyed reflecting about it in the studio. We look forward to sharing our body of work and a film about our experiences and thoughts.

Planning approval: a sensitive extension to a Grade ii listed building in Merthyr Mawr. We’re reinstating and refurbishing the Tudor-headed doorway to the internal stone staircase. The cottage is s medieval farmhouse retaining early plan form and detail.
Concept: testing models for a new extension to a listed grade ii barn. The new extension forms a new courtyard garden, while removed off the main building to respect its form and character. The new extension borrows agricultural shapes and material.
We have a number of work anniversary this week and we’re celebrating the positive impact they’ve made on our studio culture. Join us in wishing them all a happy work anniversary! Aneurin has been with us for three years. Nate and Liam make it a year.
