Sometimes, when you're a little man with a little beret, you just need to take a leap of faith 💜
Here's another example of us getting to illustrate some classic game development for The Gaming Historian.
This month, a music video we produced for Chance Calloway found an audience at the San Diego Filipino Film Festival '24.
Described as a "jewel-toned animation of queer teenage love", we're always pleased to hear that the film's still turning heads 🏳️🌈
Here's a behind the scenes!
Devil Town by Julian James and the Moonshine State.
We had a lot of fun creating a colourful (grey?) cast of characters to populate the video and of course, creating anything with a spooky vibe is always a joy for us.

Music visualisers are self-contained animated set pieces with a handful of interesting looped features. They’re atmospheric and can be used to complement the tone of any track.
If you think this might be worth exploring for your own project, don’t hesitate to reach out!
Studio Goblin Turns Six!
We’ve been drawing ourselves into and out of all kinds of crazy projects. In that time, we’ve had:
- 6 offices
- 100s of animations
- 2 retired computers (R.I.P. Lady Export and The Colonel)
- 2 engagements
- 1 pet (trust us, he’s enough)
🥳
We designed this cast of characters a few years ago for what, unfortunately, became a cancelled game project. However, we are lucky enough to be able to share them now.
I'd do anything for a mole with a tambourine, but who's your favourite?
🐸🦌🐿️
If there's two things we have in spades here a the studio, it's discretion and ideas!
We value our ability to push ideas and reveal new ones. Goblins never leave well enough alone, and though I'm sure it's lovely out on right field, we spend too much time out of left to know. 😉
We squeezed a lot out of this little design! Meet Vox from Meaning Machine's innovative first person talker, "Unknown Number".
Creating an entire suite of animation for a in-game character is challenging, but massively rewarding.

This month we put together an animated visualiser for "Gone Fishin", the latest track by @Grievesmusic. 🎣
It's always fun working on these vignettes and finding fun and unexpected ways to animate the space.

And the People’s Choice Winner is… Dead Meat by @meaningmachine_. Congratulations! Well done to all our finalists this year, it was a truly spectacular line-up.
@stopskeletons@ScottTheWoz Sorry for not replying sooner, busy end of the year! But should you ever need animation in the future, we'd love to lend a hand. Our website 👇 https://t.co/E4xpbOZPKk
