It has unfortunately come to our attention that Mod Less (@NightlessD)our studio finance mod, has misappropriated funds across several zine projects they were finance Modding. (1/17)

We will post updates about both projects (if we have any) here, and we will continue communicating with other projects that may be affected by Less's actions. (17/17)

However, $800 was the amount seemingly missing before leftovers. Its leftover sales are currently paying back out of pocket costs for shipping caused by this $800, bringing it to a "in the red" total of about $1,400 for the whole project (15/17)

Again, no orders were affected by this misappropriation, and we have informed Doppelbangers contributors of the state of affairs. We will be working with them openly moving forward. (16/17)

The project only broke even, and barely enough for contributors to recieve physical compensation plus a mousepad of their own. So before Less's misappropriation the project could not be considered a profitable success. (14/17)

As for the Doppelbangers zine, its main bank accounts appears to be inaccessible because it was closed by the bank itself for no longer having funds inside of it. (13/17)

Less was firmly vetted and has over 10 successful prior projects, and this did not occur before. So only Less can answer as to what changed, or how this happened and we do not blame any mods, customers or contributors for trusting someone who seemingly proved themself. (12/17)

There were no missing funds on big cartel, PayPal, or stripe, only in the final bank account under Less's name, so there were no red flags for other mods to suspect this happening. (11/17)

As for specifics, the Bite Me zine appears to be missing $3,800 that was slowly siphoned in small transactions that were not noticeable until final receipts were matched, and the audit was conducted for end of project finance sheets. (10/17)

We have not stopped attempting contact with Less, but we do not foresee favorable resolutions. (9/17)

Contributors have already been notified, as have mods on projects Less was on that aren't being handled by Studio Void. (8/17)

Alex and King spent time going over the finances that were handed off and it was discovered that several thousand dollars was missing for final payouts. (6/17)

These two projects made it through sales, ordering & shipping before Less stepped away of her own violation and handed the finances over to Mod Alex who was not previously on these two projects. (5/17)
