The MILO Study has begun recruitment in the University Maternity Hospital Limerick.
Membrane sweeping is a simple procedure potentially promoting the onset of spontaneous labour, reducing the number of women requiring induction to avoid post-term pregnancy.

At present, we don’t know the best time during pregnancy or how often we need to perform a membrane sweep. By completing this trial, we hope to begin the process of answering these questions
